wont start in cold weather Sign In

i have a 1996 mazda protige i am selling tomorrow.
i am not really sure what the engine size is.
it has egzactly 182,367 miles on it.

well here is my problem. it wont start in cold weather only in warm weather, but if i dont start the car in cold weather it drains my battery and when its hot out i have to jump it a few times in order to get it to start. it will stay started after the first jump but only until it gets cold outside, please help i am selling it tommorrow and i need to know what to tell the person who is buying it. thanks!

weak battery/charging system-> have the battery and alternator tested

if thats not the problem, could also be the ECT engine coolant temp sensor. which tells the ECM the engine operating temp and controls the cold idle
