wiper arm blade replacement

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado extended cab truck. I recently purchased Michelin wiper arm/blades for this truck but cannot seem to take the old arm off. The arm does not extend all the way up to allow good access. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If your trying to remove the old arm and it doesn't pull all the way up there is most likely a metal tab (by the hinge) that you pull OUT not UP. If this isn't the case there might be a rubber piece covering the bottom of the arm remove it, and there is mostly a small bolt holding the arm on.
