Can anyone recommend an adhesive to stick my wing mirror in place? I bought sticky pads from Halfords but they were useless and the mirror vibrates as I'm going along. I've got it held in place with back tape on either side. Should I have stuck the new mirror on top of the old one? My car is an old Toyota Previa people carrier, P reg. Unsure

are you replacing the entire mirror glass? or getting one of those convex spot mirrors??? for the spot mirrors 3M makes a body molding double sided tape that is dam near impossible to remove once installed to a clean surface.

if your doing the entire mirror because the old glass broke, you might have to get the complete assembly.

Just thoughts on this: Can you tell if the wobble is the mirror to base or the base itself from perhaps what broke the original one? Knowing that would help.

The double stick tapes seem to work better when used over just cracked original glass. I still don't like that so smash off old broken ones completely which leaves an uneven surface of old glue which needs to be razor bladed off like with a paint scraper type.

Then I use a combo of the double stick cut to smaller squares in good spots for support AND use silicone adhesive (just dots of it) which will last longer when fully cured that double stick tape but you need something till the glue cures to hold it as mentioned,
