looking to buy wheels..will 17" wheels fit on an '01 corolla, oem wheels are 14" x 5.5". Thanks.

If you get a low enough profile tire it should "bolt on" Keep in mind that frt end wasn't designed for that type of rim.... All the alignment angles go out the window & its hit or missing (& those tires aren't cheap) Plus the added stress it puts on the bearings & brakes..... can't tell you how many bearings & hubs I've changed that those rims have "tore up".... I've seen mostly trucks & SUVs with 20s or DUBs. Can't say for your corolla, but for a truck you are looking in the neigborhood of $2000 for the kit (rotors, bearings, calipers) to do it right & that price isn't including the tires & rims.
