The engine has an IAC (idle air control) motor that is supposed to compensate for that drag by raising the idle speed. Assuming that there isn't a problem with the compressor, the IAC may just need cleaning. Have you had an injector cleaning service done, yet? Recommend every 30-40,000 miles.
