will a tranny out of a 1999 dodge grand caravan fit a 1998 chrysler town and country minivan?

From what I understand,Yes...But there are 2 different 4 speed transmissions..and a 3 speed one....
It depends on which one you have..
Best bet,contact Chrysler/Dodge parts department with both VIN #'s to verify which one you have ....to make sure it will swap out ok...( be the right application)
