tire size Sign In

hi yall! I just recently replaced my tires.. I had a stock Michelin 215R65x16 and the guys at Lambs told me they dont have that tire size but they do have Goodyear Integrity 225R60X16 which would perfectly fit my car and wont have any problems at all.. Is there any risk in changing into this tire size? Any problems I could face in the future? hope to hear from you guys.. thanks!

Re: tire size Sign In

I would check in the owners manual for any optional tire size for your vehicle.
Some makes even have a label inside the door opening listing the tire pressures and any optional tire size(s).
I would even check with the vehicle manufacturer first before purchasing those.
Modern vehicles speedometers /Computers are calibrated with the tire size and any change could affect this and may require recalibration...
Personally ,i would stay with the tire size that came stock on this vehicle.

Thats my opinion

Jim
