throttle body screen on 2000 impala ls

how do you remove the metal throttle body screen on a 2000 chevy impala ls. I removed the c-clip but the screen doesn't want to come out. Is there a trick to getting it out?

after removing clip. Pull towards you for removal. Insert a small object like a screw or flat head screw driver into the edge of the screen and pry it out being careful not to damage it.
