subaru legacy 05 dash help?

okay, so I have a subaru legacy 05. this is the dash setup.

my problem is I want to put my own cd player in the car, which is a pioneer DEH-3900MP.
I talked to a guy at circuit city who said I can get a new dash for like $100, but I don't really want to spend that if I can do it myself. where can I look for a dash that'll fit that cd player, and what kind of harness would I need for that? thanks.

hes not talking about a new "dash" per say. what he is taking about is a plastic filler/adapter panel that you insert into your old radio hole in your existing dash. your new radio will then slide into the new filler panel.
its for cosmetics since most factory radios in cars are HUGE and take up a large part of the dash. aftermarket companies sell panels that fill in the voided space
