strange fluid leak on durango?

I have a 1999 dodge durango with about 100,000 miles on it its got the smaller of the two V8 engines...5.2 maybe? i am having a leak on the right hand side of the engine compartment at the bottom near the radiator? its an oily fluid? its on a cylinder shaped gizmo with a few lines that come out of it? i have just had the oil changed and the gear box flushed.. none of these things are near the leak though?OH it also has no heat?? my wife is freezing in TN and needs some answers the closest shop is a bit of a distance,any ideas??

Is it possible for you to snap a picture of the gizmo in question and up load it?
