To make them go off you just have to turn off the car and restart it.What could it be, since the car drives fine even when the lights are on. As I said, this is just a guess. Another guess, possibly the ignition key cylinder hanging, or the key is starting to fail. Try another key to see if it helps. If it cures it, replace the key.
