After you start the car, put it into reverse then into drive, the service engine soon light, the abs light comes on and the traction control goes off. To make them go off you just have to turn off the car and restart it.What could it be, since the car drives fine even when the lights are on. Please help!!

Possibly (as a GUESS only), from your description, it could be a mis adjusted ignition switch. As I said, this is just a guess. Another guess, possibly the ignition key cylinder hanging, or the key is starting to fail. Try another key to see if it helps. If it cures it, replace the key.

I had the same trouble,it would be fine until u pinned it or accelerated fast,i took my wheels off one by one and shook the hub assembly,it was loose and the abs sensor is usually a part of the hub assembly,i replaced it and all the lights went off and stayed off...hope this helps in anyway....

p.s...if your like me....dont do e-brakes...lol
