Monitor the fuel pressure during the start.

Check engine light on? If so, what code(s) is stored?

Hi thank your for the response, yes I check the code it is p02181 cooling system performance, I don't know if that has something to do with the rough start. the thing is if I depress the gas pedal a bit it starts once it warms up it runs not too bad. this is all the information I see, thank you and I will be waiting for your advice.

Not much of a diesel tech here. Don't think a coolant system performance code would cause a rough start. You could monitor coolant temperature to be sure the engine is reaching operating temperature and that the coolant temperature sensor is putting out the correct signal. Could be the thermostat is stuck open if the engine doesn't reach operating temps causing the engine controller to set that code.
