my right headlight is out on my 94 honda civic, then when i turn on the highbeam, the right comes on and the left goes out. do you think its the switch on the turn signal arm?

I think you have a bad low beam filament on right side and a bad high beam filament on left. Swap the bulbs and see if problem follows the bulb.
