repair help ford thunderbird.

 Can some one help us?We have a 1996 ford thunderbird and the water pump is cracked we can not find out how to remove the heatre pipe from the top of the water pump does any one know how this is done?

You must have the 3.8L engine. Click here for information. The hoses are just clamped on. It might be wise to replace the hoses. Just cut them off the engine and replace new.
