Emergency brake was not on. Nothing was touched in the brakes, only drums were put on. Could air in the lines cause this? Porportioning valve, perhaps? Thanks for any help... I don't think the adjuster was too far out, because the new drum fit on pretty easily without any adjustment being necessary. the wheel cylinder isn't leaking, and seems ok, when I manually make it push fluid. All springs, etc were in proper position. The warm or hot brake won't grab as well as the cooler one. The new brake drums should have come new with some method of keeping them from rusting while in box and should be cleaned as directed on box or I've always used brake cleaner before installing them which is becoming a no no in this state as they try to eliminate the need for anything that can pollute which it does. Don't get brake cleaner on any rubber parts as it is not compatible.
