power windows Sign In

I have a 2002 chevy cavalier 4dr. The left front window motor would go down but not up. I checked the power at the motot plug and it has power in both positions. I purchased a reman motor and it did the same thing.
Any ideas anyone?

Re: power windows Sign In

The motor should be grounded in both positions when not operating the window. Hitting the switch will apply power to one side or the other depending on which way the window is going. The master switch on the LF door shares a ground for all windows, so if the other windows are not acting the same way, you prob have a bad switch.
