I have a 94 Chevy Camaro that has power windows. Something is wrong with the drivers side window, it goes down fine but when I try to put it up it only goes up a little bit or not at all sometimes I have to pull up on the window and press the switch at the ssme time to get it up all the way.
I bought a window motor but I want to make sure it's not something else before I put the motor in.
Any help would be great.

Sounds like a regulator problem. Some, you can buy the regulator seperately. Some applications come with the motor. If the window tries to go up each time you hit the switch, you can assume the switch and motor are okay.

Could very well be Loren but I’ve seen and replaced so many motors just for this exact reason/problem; that myohann has described.
Gravity helps the motor lower the window; on the way up its all motor that lifts it.
As the motor begins to fail, the current (electrical demand) flow of the motor goes up; to the point that this motor’s internal electrical breaker switch, will trip (go open); stopping the motor.
Once the motor cools the breaker automatically resets and again will lift the window; sometimes an inch sometimes all the way.
It could be that the problem is just the breaker switch; but they are sealed inside the motors and are not serviceable.
So as Loren said check that the window regulator is ok; if so replace the motor.
