power steering sensor help needed

hi all just found this forum
hope someone can help i have a citroen c5 petrol
model 2002. the power steering has started leaking
at the plastic power steering sensor.when i went to citroen they said i would have to buy the whole pipe that the sensor did not come separately.this seems a bit OT to replace the whole pipe for a leaky plastic sensor.can anyone help please
