my power locks will not open hatch on back of jeep grand cherokee

can you manually open the hatch with the key? if so the power actuator is sticking.
take the interior panel off and look inside while someone works the power lock and the manual way.
you will see whats binding up.
careful the sheetmetal edges are sharp and will do a number on your hands
