possibly brakes

put my truck in drive it won't move at idle it is as if my brakes are applied. put in reverse it moves in idle. You drive for a while and it is fine. park, shut it off and it does it all over again.

It very well could be the brakes but you won’t know unless you have them inspected.
Things like an emergency brake being partly stuck on; when the brakes are cold they grab on but once they are heated up they’ll glaze over and begin to slip. Also if there’s fluid on the shoes from a leaking wheel cylinder (brake fluid) or an axle seal (differential fluid) will mix with the brake dust and act like glue but again once it warms it’ll seem normal.
I doubt it would be a front brake caliper; usually when they begin to seize it’s the opposite and will begin to hold the vehicle after they’ve warmed up.
This is all just speculation and should not be left there; go and have a complete brake inspection done before your hunch turns into no brakes. Believe me it almost never happens that you lose your brakes in the laneway at home but usually when your coming up to a stop light at a busy intersection. Murphy’s law wouldn’t allow it to happen at home sitting still.
