recently my parking break light has come on.... I have no pressure with the brake pedal....if i sit in park or neutral and pump the brakes i get the pressure back but hen when i use the brakes it goes away.... i bled the front brakes there was only a little air in the line. i am not losing brake fluid. i know this because when i pump my brakes in the driveway there is no fluid on the groun....is it the master cylinder or is there something else......

If you are sure there are no leaks, the master cylinder is more thn likely your problem. When you remove it, look in the booster to be sure there is no brake fluid inside it. Brake fluid ruins rubber and the brake booster has a large rubber diaphram in it. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds

could it also be just in need of a break job in the back???? when i first use the vehicle(96 blazer) especially in reverse the back brakes make a rather loud sound but then after driving for a little bit it stops????
