soem time my car wont go in to park it will have nothing indicated on the dash i wait a few minutes or mess around with shifter and it will finally go into park any idea of the cause of this it on a 1991 integra gs

Is the shifter physically not going into park? As in the car will roll away, as if you left it in neutral?
Or is it that the indicator doesn’t show park when you know that it is?
