Lokking for some advice, on a 97 GMC half ton, 4by4, with a 4.3, with 231xxx klms, just wondering why the oil pressure, goes up to 290KPA, and then after driving for approx 15 min, it drops down to 250, or about the center of the gauge?

Common on these trucks. Nothing to worry about. Normal oil pressure range.
