oil light comes on

 1995 dodge intrepid
3.5 engine
oil light comes on when idling,oil level is good.
light goes off when engine accelerates.

optimusprime; More than likely, it's just a faulty oil pressure sending unit. But, should check the oil pressure while you have the sending unit out, just to be sure. I've had terrible luck with aftermarket OPS units, so I always buy from the dealer when working on a Chrys. product.
