I have a Dodge neon 95 it has a problem no power keeps backfiring it takes a long time to start it got to the point where I can't drive it it wont drive past ten miles I bought the egnition coil that wasn't the problem .please help me

How long since a basic tuneup , Plugs ,wires,cap,rotor,pcv,fuel and air filter? LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH

Probably want to start with the basics with this. If the check engine light is on pull the codes to see what area is being affected. Take fuel pressure and vacuum readings. If the vacuum reading is low & shaky the timing belt may have jumped a tooth or 2.. Might want to double check the firing order, with the coil pack sitting in the middle of the valve cover it's about impossible to get it off but double check just to be sure....

i agree that those items need to be checked sidom but after a basic tuneup . hate to chase a low / errtic vac reading because of fouled plugs . IMO LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH
