I need some advice! I had a new transmission put in my fiance's ford taurus yesterday, and today the engine went up in smoke. Could this be coincidental or could the mechanic screwed up? I am not really sure what happened. I know that it won't even turn over, but it was to dark out by the time I got it home to look and see where the oil was coming from. I have no doubt that it is blown up, but just don't know if there is a connection with them putting in the transmission yesterday. Just a little odd get it back yesterday and it blows up today.
