i have manual roll up windows now and manual locks on my jeep patriot is it possible to switch to power windows and locks and have them professionally installed or is this just a stupid thought?

It is possible, but it may be cost inhibitive. It costs a lot more after the fact than when built. If all the wiring is in place, it is ma lot easier, but if not, wiring harnesses are quite expensive.
Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
