lot of road noise

just had 4 new tires put on last week. car seems to have lot of road noise now, seems to have less noise when turning towards left. any idea of problem? could the new tires have affected the wheel bearings and cause the noise. or could it be something else?the vehicle has approx 180,000 miles. thank you

Sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing on the left front. The new tire installation really shouldn't have anything to do with the bearing going bad. Even though you just had the tires done it was really just chance that it has happened now. At 180k miles, if it has never been done before, than bad bearings are not that uncommon.
