lost #3 heater fan speed on selector switch

lost #3 heater fan speed on selector switch Sign In

my 02 ranger has 4 fan speeds on the dash switch. the #3 postion isnt working, the fan blows at the #2 speed. i replaced the blower motor resistor but it did not help.
any ideas?

yea its more then likely it, but i was hoping for a little guidance before i throw money at a new switch with my luck find out thats nto it either.

I know what ya mean, but if it was anything else it would affect all the speeds, some resistor do control the fan speeds, but in your case its the switch.Unsure
