locate & replace thermostat on 1995 ford aspire

1995 Ford Aspire, 1.3L engine. Location of thermostat. Is it blocked by distributor? Do I have to remove a metal cooling tube to reach the 2nd bolt?

Link to full instructions below this if I can get it. Remove what you need to, to get at the TWO bolts for that cover. MAKE SURE THE WIGGLY BUTTON (AIR VENT) IS ON TOP WITH THIS TYPE.....
