Quick and easy question here Both my brake light and blinker light on the back right of my truck are out. they went out at the same time. One person is telling me to change the bulbs.. but why would they both go out at the same time? Another person is telling me to check a fuse. Any recommendations? thanks.

Does this truck use Amber for directional? If just one bulb and red brake and directional suspect the bulb first. Multiple bulbs with these not working probably share the same ground that isn't making a good contact in that housing, T

Do your hazard lights work? If so, check your fuse. If not, let me know

The vehicle is 95 nissan hardbody. I went and bought bulbs to raplace them... when i got home i removed the right light unit and saw that one of the two connections was unplugged. I checked the other side and it was plugged, so i hooked the right back up and it works. I had my truck painted withing the last year. I suspect that they might have removed the tail lights when painting and not hooked them both back up completely.
