intake manifold removal

On my 98 Lexus (4 L, 1UZ-FE) engine while removing the intake manifold, there is a silver fuel tube (apx ¾” in dia) that sits above each bank of injectors that must be removed. Toward the rear of each tube it connects to the hard black metal fuel line. Above each fuel connector sit’s a canister with a 22 ml nut. Does that nut turn counter clockwise and thus removing it from the silver fuel tube?
