info chry voyager stud replacement

help w/how to replace stud on 2000voyager chry i have been told to undo three bolts in back of plate then loosen nut on axle then w/ballpeen hammer on axle tapp axle back enough to put bolts in. any problems w/this approach?

That sounds correct,I would use a piece of wood between the hammer and axle when tapping on it.
