idle reving problem

My son has a 93 Honda Civic 5 speed. When in idle, the car revs by itself. I was told it was the Idle air control valve, since this car does not have a TPS.

you found your answer. just remove the IAC valve and clean it and reinstall.
i highly doubt you dont have a TPS sensor. they are on the throttle body
