I am replacing the master cylinder in my 1971 chevy c10 pickup because of rust damage, but when i search for that part online it only shows the portion that you put the brake fluid into(the reservoir). what it the circular shaped part behind it called?

If you meant what it's bolted to that's a brake booster - shown in pic 4 that dave just posted,
