Disconnect at dash and pull the cable out - it won't come out from trans end. Sign In They are a pest but you can get at it from under dash standing on your head. You sqeeze a nylon clip (like a childproof cap sort of) I think and it will pull back out. Once out the square tip of the cable can be pulled and the whole six feet of it will come out. You do need to feel it key in and not turn when reinstalling it as it's square at trans end and needs to mate up there and will usually line up by itself at the back of speedo when puched in with a click. It's been a few moons on that car for this. Some you can just partially take the gauge cluster out just enough to reach it still from behind.
