how to change stereos Sign In

hey all. I have a 95 pontiac sunfire 2.2.
It has a factory radio/tape player in it, and a freind of mine gave me a cd player.
Im wondering how to remove the exsisting radio in it now, so i can install the cd player i have
step by step method i could follow would be great!!

Here you go......


RADIO REPLACEMENT

Description

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
  1. Disable SIR system.
  2. Negative battery cable.
  3. I/P cluster trim plate.
  4. Screws and pull rearward.
  5. Electrical and antenna lead connections.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
  1. Electrical and antenna lead connections.
  2. Screws to I/P.
  3. I/P cluster trim plate.
  4. Negative battery cable.
  5. Enable SIR system.


INSTRUMENT PANEL ACCESSORY TRIM PLATE

Description

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
  1. Open I/P compartment to expose screws.
  2. Screws to I/P.
  3. Gently pull rearward to disengage retainers.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
  1. Align tabs to trim plate.
  2. Screws to I/P
  3. Close I/P compartment door.

looks like i will be able to do that, but im not sure where and how you even remove the panel to get it all started, i cant see directions for that

I put them there at the bottom...added them,not sure when you looked at the post ... re-look and let me know...
