http://www.autozone.com/.../repairInfoPages.htm The link up top is for a 4 cyl for that car. You decide whether that looks like you want to take it on yourself or farm out to a shop. This is a fairly expensive starter so you should be sure about this. Ask a shop with your exact engine how much the labor would come to. If exhaust does need to be removed in some cases the labor may be higher than expected if things don't cooperate in coming apart. Best I could find with the info you provided, T

The four cylinder pays just under 1 hour labor. It should be fairly easy. The V6 pays about the same. It still should be a process you can do at home. Just remember, you arfe looking at the car, we are not. Please read the first post at the top of the forum and help us help you. Good luck with your starter. So take the amount of labor your shops charge per hour and you can figure out about what it will cost. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds

I'm not sure it's the starter either now. What did it do when you tried to re-start the car? Starter alone did not cause the car to stop running. Check battery cables are clean and tight at all connections is the guess for the problem right now. If stuck without tools and one is making a bad connection sometimes just jostling them by hand will get it going again. Only shop I'll suggest and have worked with for ions now is L&C Garage, 152 Washington St. (Rte 85) Hudson, MA 978-562-2296, Danny, Louis, and Chris. That should be about an houa () from Braintree - take the Maaasss Pike to 495N. Govanah Cellucci used to live right neara daya, T
