At its age you may deal with broken bolts nuts and still have to send the head(s) out for inspection as shops do too to see if there is warpage. I suggest getting all info from perhaps AllData.com for torque specs and procedures. It is a pricy job but the shops have to have all this data themselves and still send the head out to a machine shop. If there's a problem with the head they usually have to buy a used one and rebuild it. Like I said-- Not a good DIY job. This job is pricy because it's time consuming. It could cost about $1,200 or so to get done.
