when ever i start my 1994 honda civic hatchback, it revs up and down sparatically, but after about 5-10 minutes, it will smooth out. doesnt matter if its cold or warm out, and every once and awhile it wont start. i havent done a tuneup on it since i got it last year, but im not sure if it would help or not. i just hope its not the stupid fuel pump-
please help!

id say a basic tune up is in order.
air filter
plugs
wires
fuel filter.
but besides that, the hunting idle could be caused by a dirty throttle body or idle control valve.
does it smooth out after the engine warms up?
