Hi there.
I am new to carjunky and I could use some help. I just purchased a 1992 honda civic vx and the horn doesnt work. I have no owners manual and have been trying to figure out if it could be a blown fuse. I have looked at several fuse box diagrams on line and cant seem to locate a horn fuse. Am i way off base here? Is there even a horn fuse? Thanks

The horn is powered by fuse #42 in the engine compartment. The brake lights are powered by the same fuse so if they work, the fuse is OK.

The horn receive power all the time and the switch supplies ground on the blue with red wire.

Thank you so much for the quick response. This does solve one of my issues. brakes lights work so it isnt the fuse. Hopefully I will solve the problem and be beeping soon Wink

Have a 1992 civic ex, We were driving and the car just stopped. We found a distributor and changed it but no spark from the plug wire. Plugs and wires are less than a year old. It tries to start but will not turn over.

You need to start a new question for a new vehicle
