hole in exaust help

how should i fix the hole in my exhaust? cut away the support and get someone to weld a patch? any other ideas?

Excellent pics! Unfortunately, the pipe is beyond welding. You are going to need to replace it. You may be able to have a muffler shop cut out the bad part of the pipe and weld in a new piece...if the opposite ends are sound enough to weld to.
