Just got valve gasket replaced by dealer and husband did serpintine belt, have a hissing sound under hood when car stops. Who is to blame?? Was not there before repairs. Help! Dealer not friendly will not take blame if they messed up. My husband too proud to think he messed up. What a mess. God Bless/In Christ Pam Holloway

Re: hissing Sign In

Could be a vacuum line loose or disconnected; look for a small line not attached to a nozzle.

Re: hissing Sign In

What year, make and model of vehicle (engine size might help too)and when does the hissing occur? Is it at idle, or when shutting the car off?

Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
