help please with my 406

hi i have a 406 td 2.1 v6 a problem has just started with it first thing on a morning it runs fine for 20 mins untill it warms up then seems to go dead as if there is no turbo or a restrictor kicks in but as soon as the speed eventualy picks up the turbo works have checked the air filter and changed the diesel filter to no evail to me it seems as though it is blocked or or something could somebody please help as need it fixing intime for the schools going back thanks for your help very much appreciate it rob.
