heater core replacement. where can you I find schematics for this job.

I think you might want to buy some time on All Data, Mitchell or GM’s SI (Service Information) site?
A major portion of the dash must be removed to gain the room to remove the heater module. Once the module is on the bench; then you can change out the heater core.
The flat rate time for an experienced tech is 8.5 hours.
