 can someone help me get the panel off with out opening the door on a kia rio 5 door 2003 there is something up with the lock need to get the panel off to look in there

April; More than likely, a piece of linkage has broken or fallen off, inside the door panel. A lock out kit, commonly called a slim-jim, may be able to hook the linkage and get the door open. If you have towing coverage on your insurance, you probably have 'lock out' coverage as well. Most tow trucks have these kits on board. One of the newer kits are about $80.00, so probably don't want to buy one, but would end up being cheaper than destroying the door panel.
