I immediatley soaked up the excess gas in my gas tank entry. Then I diluted the gasoline that had gotten on my paint with water. Drove home which took five minutes and washed the inside and outside with carwash soap and water. Did I do the right thing? Will my paint be damaged? For the short time the paint was on my car? I hope someone can answer my question! Thank you Sincerely!!! It doesn't hurt most original paint jobs permanantly but is likely to remove any wax job you had in that area.
