Sign In i dont know bout most cars or your type but mine hisses as pressure is released and it all depends on how far and long you drive. if its a minute or two away it probably wont build lots of pressure so wont make a sound. Sign In As a rule, fuel tanks don't run under pressure. the only time you may see this is with a lot of fuel in the tank and parked in the sun.
