fuel issues Sign In

i have a 1989 lebaron, it will not start i checked spark it was good. checked fuel relay it was also good, i do not have any key on power to the fuel pump but when the the car is being turned over there is power to one of the wires at the pump? this car has the 2.5 turbo. any advise would be a great hekp. THANKS.

It's only supposed to be powered when cranking. Test the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge.

i opened the pressure port on the fuel rail and had nothing?

You'll have to verify ground at the pump also but it sounds like a bad fuel pump.
