2004 ford ranger 4x4xlt 3.0liter,30,000 miles. front tires wearing on inside edge only.what's up?

That is generally a wheel alignment problem. The front end has to be inspected first for any worn parts but the wear is traditionally caused by having too much "toe out" adjustment if all the parts are tight.
